How can I find out what I am already paying for calls?

Find your itemisation on your current telephone bill.

Help bring your costs down with 999TariffCost of calls.
Whether it be Local, National or Mobile,

  1. find the total cost for that type of call.
  2. Divide this figure by the number of seconds and multiply that by 60.
  3. This gives you the cost per minute of a call.

Normally Local and National calls are the same price and Mobile are much more expensive.
For example if there are 2 hours 10 minutes and 15 sec of mobile calls on the bill and the charge is £ 8.40

Then 8.40 divided by 4215 seconds = .0019928 X 60 = 11.95 p per minute.

Minimum Call Charge
This is a minimum charge for the call, eventually the cost will pass the minimum
call charge but this will make short calls very expensive.

Setup Charge
This is a set up fee on top of your call charges, this also makes short calls very expensive.
